When you arrive, meet our representative at Cairo International Airport, and a private, air-conditioned car will take you to your hotel. When you arrive, your low-cost tour of Cairo and El Ain Sokhna will be updated in consultation with you to ensure that all of the day trips in Egypt are planned according to the schedule and to discuss any additional Cairo sightseeing tours you would like to include in your Egypt travel packages.

If you have enough time, you can attend the optional sound and light show at the Giza Pyramids to learn more about Egypt's history and prepare for the tour of the Giza Pyramids the following day.

You will be greeted by your certified tour guide to begin your trip in Cairo by touring the Giza Pyramids area after enjoying your first buffet breakfast at the hotel.

While standing very close to the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, a 146-meter-tall structure built during the Old Kingdom—specifically, the fourth dynasty—one of the greatest kings of ancient Egypt, your personal tour guide will make sure to answer all of your questions about the ancient Egyptian era. Your Giza Pyramids tour will pique your curiosity about the Egyptian past.

King Cheops, also known as Khufu, was the grandfather of Mycerinus, the smallest but no less significant pyramid that can be seen from the plateau while taking the optional camel ride at the Giza Pyramids to see the glory of this epic land, the land of the pharaohs. King Cheops was the son of Snefru, who also owned four impressive pyramids. He was also the father of Chephren, who built the middle pyramid in Giza and still retains the outer casing at the top end.

Proceed to observe The Valley Temple of King Chephren, where his regal remains were preserved for the afterlife through mummification, and the massive statue of the Sphinx, fashioned like a man-headed lion, symbolizing strength and wisdom.

Next, let's visit the Saqqara Necropolis, which is 200 years older than the Giza Necropolis and home to the Step Pyramid complex of King Djoser from the third dynasty and the Pyramid of King Teti from the sixth dynasty, which ruled the country until the start of the first intermediate period. Explore the tombs of the nobles, the son-in-law of King Teti, and Kagemni, the vizier of Justice, to see the exquisite examples of ancient Egyptian art.
We will now travel to the location of the most ancient Egyptian capital, which is now known as Mit Rahina. This area is regarded as an outdoor museum that holds many fascinating artifacts from the old, middle, and new kingdoms of ancient Egyptian history. See the massive statue of Ramses II, one of the most significant kings of the 18th dynasty, and the alabaster sphinx of Memphis, the second largest sphinx in all of Egypt.

Your tour guide will take you on an incredible tour of Cairo's city highlights today, beginning with an Islamic Cairo trip to the Cairo Citadel, following your delectable breakfast at the hotel.

You will see the 12th-century Saladin Citadel, which was constructed by Sultan Saladin to protect Cairo from potential threats. Saladin enlisted some mercenaries to serve in the Egyptian army, but they quickly developed wealth, power, and the support of the populace, which allowed them to rule the nation until Mohamed Ali Basha carried out them in the infamous Citadel Massacre.

Speaking of Mohamed Ali, his amazing alabaster mosque is housed inside the citadel and, in clear weather, is regarded as one of Cairo's highest points from which to view the Giza Pyramids.
Now that you've started the Coptic Cairo tour, head to Old Cairo to see the oldest Christian churches in the history of Christianity. Historians claim that the holy family visited Egypt on their flight from King Herod, spending nearly three to four months there. They sought safety in a crypt, and afterward a church known as the Church of Abu Serga was constructed above it. You can also see The Hanging Church, which is situated above two towers of the former Roman fortress of Babylon.The Synagogue of Ben Ezra, one of the oldest Jewish synagogues in the Middle East, will be your first stop after your Coptic tours in Cairo.
After a fine meal in the Al Hussein neighborhood of downtown Cairo, visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Al Hussein was the grandson of the Islamic Prophet Mohamed (PBUH), and the region is replete with numerous 9th-century mosques as well as numerous mausoleums belonging to the Prophet's family and companions. Before being returned to your hotel for the night, take pleasure in your walking tour through Cairo's narrow streets and enjoy a refreshing tea and mint beverage.

We will check out of the hotel and drive for an hour and a half to the Red Sea Ain Sokhna resort. Once there, we'll enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or in the pool, with a buffet lunch served starting at 3:00 PM and dinner served prior to the night production.

Once you have finished breakfast, check out of your hotel and get started on your adventure! We will drive for nearly 30 minutes to the well-known resort of Porto Sokhna, where you can ride the Cable Car (Teleferik) up the Galala Mountain and have lunch with fresh seafood at a classy restaurant with views of the mountains and the Red Sea. After your low-cost tour of Cairo and El Ain Sokhna is over, explore the resort's mall and take breathtaking pictures by the waterfront before returning your car to Cairo. Tell the driver exactly where you want to be dropped off.
